CILT China Conference in Chang Sha on November 16-17, 2018
On 16 – 17November, the 5th China International Logistics Development Conference held at the Kempinski Hotel, Changsha, Hunan Province. Among one thousand attendees, CILT have over 50 international experts and professionals attended to contribute knowledge at the conference. It was co-organized by CILT International and CILT China in partnership with CCTA, the conference carries the theme “Connectivity, Integration and Development”. The focus of discussions was on the creation of physical, digital and cultural links across Eurasia and the world. The organizers received many positive feedbacks and was successful.
At the CILT working session in the evening of November 16th, WiLAT is happy to meet Mrs. Dabney Shallholma, Director Commercial Shipping Services and Chairperson of SEALINK project from Nigeria and learnt more about how the idea on the women group in Nigeria came from her and Lizzie Ovbude, a trustee of WiLAT Nigeria who sadly passed away in November 2018. She has graciously recognized Lizzie’s enormous contribution made. It is our lost and she will be remembered.
