WiLAT HK Visit: HKTDC Hong Kong International Jewellery Show

On March 3, 2018 Saturday afternoon, Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and WiLAT Hong Kong co-organized a tour for WiLAT members to visit Hong Kong International Jewellery Show at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.    The program started with a welcome briefing by HKTDC and followed by a seminar of “Jewellery show and exhibition logistics arrangement” by Mr. Filippo Melchionni, Chief Operating Officer of Ferrari Group Asia who is a leader of the jewelry fair logistics industry.  Filippo shared his expertise and global experience in logistics and security services to jewelers.

After the seminar, HKTDC guided the tour to visit various exhibition zones. We have visited the world’s largest jewelry presentation featuring over 2,500 international exhibitors showcasing a large range of finished jewelry and raw stones.  Understanding the organization of large-scale jewelry fair; seeing the latest designs and collections; and collecting the jewelry market trends and sourcing prices.  It was an informative event with inspiring sharing and visiting session.

This event is also a celebration of the International Women’s Day 2018. Every participant received a flower, chocolate and corporate souvenirs from Ferrari.  We would like to take this opportunity to thanks again HKTDC and Ferrari Group Asia for the kind arrangement which make our weekend filled with sweet moments.
