WiLAT Malaysia: Borneo International Maritime Week 2025- “Empowering Women & Youth in Logistics and Entrepreneurship: A Regional Perspective”

WiLAT Forum (Session 5), themed “Empowering Women & Youth in Logistics and Entrepreneurship: Regional Perspective”, featured Ts. Dr. Hjh Zawiah Abdul Majid, FCILT, who delivered the Opening Remarks. The forum gathered a panel of notable speakers including:

• Madam Juliana Sofhia Damu, FCILT, WiLAT Global Vice Chairperson for Southeast Asia, Republic of Indonesia

• Pn. Hjh Zainab Hj Ali, CMILT, Managing Director, Mascempaka Enterprise, Brunei Darussalam

• Pn. Azila Ayub, CMILT, Star of WiLAT 2025 and Chairperson, CILTM WiLAT Perak Section

The session was moderated by Dr. Nor Fyadzillah Binti Mohd Taha, CMILT, Chairperson of CILTM WiLAT Malaysia. Carrying the theme “Empowering Women & Youth in Logistics and Entrepreneurship: A Regional Perspective,” the event featured distinguished speakers and an insightful panel session who shared valuable experiences, success stories, and perspectives on leadership, innovation, and inclusivity across the region. The discussions highlighted the importance of nurturing young talents, fostering entrepreneurship, and enhancing the role of women in shaping the future of the logistics and transport industry. At the conclusion of the event, the President of CILTM presented plaques and certificates of appreciation to the moderator and speakers in recognition of their contributions and active participation. CILTM also extended its sincere appreciation to Ts. Dr. Haji Abdul Kuddus Ramlee FCILT, Chairman of CILTM Sarawak Section, for his strong leadership, support, and commitment in successfully organising the WiLAT Forum 2025 in Bintulu. His efforts, together with the collaboration of Transport Events, made the forum a resounding success and an inspiring highlight of BIMW 2025.
