WiLAT Malaysia Johor Section: Regional Collaboration in Batam

The WiLAT Malaysia Johor Section strengthened regional cooperation through an engagement session with WiLAT Batam and WiLAT Indonesia during their academic and industrial visit to Batam. The delegation received a warm welcome from key leaders, including Madam Juliana Sofhia, Madam Nurmaria Sarosa, and WiLAT Batam representatives who coordinated the visit. Discussions focused on enhancing regional networking, sharing best practices in women empowerment, exploring collaborative programmes, and expanding leadership and professional development opportunities for women in logistics and transport. The delegation expressed appreciation to CILT Malaysia and CILT Indonesia for their support and hospitality. The engagement reinforced international sisterhood within WiLAT and opened doors for future joint initiatives that will benefit the logistics and transport community in both countries.
