WiLAT Sri Lanka 5th anniversary conference 2018

WiLAT Hong Kong representatives, Ms. Vicky Koo, Ms. Miriam Lau and Ms. Carmen Li attended WiLAT Sri Lanka 5thanniversary conference in Colombo on March 23.   Speakers were invited to share about sustainability in logistics and transport.   Ms. Miriam Lau – WiLAT HK Advisor gave a speech on “Role of Women in Sustainable Logistics” which encourage all professionals in the industry to come forward and support women to excel.    Ms. Vicky Koo – WiLAT HK Chairperson and Global Deputy Convenor & Ms. Carmen Li – WiLAT HK Vice Chairperson share their view about women in sustainable logistics and transport in a radio show “Coffee with Dan”.    WiLAT China’s congratulation message was delivered by Ms. Carmen Li at the celebration dinner.   The event was greatly supported by CILT Sri Lanka and IVP of the region.    A very successful event that we all feel proud of for WiLAT Sri Lanka.

A WiLAT meeting was held with the presence of chairpersons from Singapore and Pakistan and ex-chairperson of Sri Lanka to prepare for the upcoming ICM Poland.
