WiLAT Sri Lanka Walk 2025 – Marking the National Logistics Day

In celebration of the National Logistics Day, WiLAT Sri Lanka proudly organized the WiLAT Walk 2025 on 16^th August 2025 at the Viharamahadevi Park, Colombo, a landmark event that brought together over 550 participants, including professionals, academics, students, and industry enthusiasts.

Leading the walk were WiLAT Executive Committee members, past Chairpersons, and distinguished representatives of CILT, underscoring the event’s significance within the logistics and supply chain community. The walk was ceremonially flagged off by the Mayor of Colombo Municipal Council, who attended as the Chief Guest.

In their remarks, WiLAT leaders emphasized the crucial role of logisticians—both women and men—in ensuring continuity, resilience, and agility across industries. The event highlighted the growing contribution of women in logistics and supply chain management, while reinforcing WiLAT’s mission to promote diversity, inclusion, and innovation.
