WiLAT Sri Lanka successfully conducted an insightful webinar titled “Building Trust: Overcoming the Core Dysfunctions of Teams” on 27th November, featuring Ms. Nadeesha Wijesingha—a seasoned C-Suite Leader with 23 years at Unilever and a certified Life Coach, Trainer, and Consultant.

The session brought together members from both our professional and student communities for an engaging discussion on the key dysfunctions that hinder effective teamwork.

The webinar explored areas such as unconscious bias, lack of trust, weak accountability, and communication gaps—highlighting how strong, purposeful leadership can transform these challenges into high-performing team behaviors. Speakers’ practical insights and relatable examples encouraged participants to reflect on their own team experiences and leadership approaches.
