On 16th October 2025, WiLAT Sri Lanka inaugurated its Wellness Month with a soul-soothing yoga session at the Ishtara Holistic Wellness & Learning Centre. Conducted by Mr. L. B. P. Sankha Balasooriya — Yoga Consultant and Visiting Lecturer — the session introduced participants to the foundational principles of yoga, focusing on harmony between body and mind.
Members of CILT and WiLAT embraced the opportunity to unwind, recharge, and reconnect. The event not only promoted physical vitality but also nurtured mental clarity and emotional balance — a perfect start to a month dedicated to holistic well-being.
In today’s fast-paced world, yoga offers a powerful antidote to stress and burnout. its benefits for professionals are both immediate and long-term: including stress reduction, improved focus & productivity, better posture & pain relief, boosted energy levels and emotional resilience.
