World Transport Convention in Beijing on 19 to 20 June 2018

Dr. Dorothy Chan, CILTHK and Mr. CK Loh, CILT Singapore both attended as speakers to the World Transport Convention held in Beijing on 19 to 20 June 2018.  The Convention was organized by the Chinese Engineering Academy with Tsinghua University as a supporting organization.

CK Loh spoke on Singapore experience in building a livable congestion free city and Dorothy Chan introduced Hong Kong’s Railway Led Development Strategy which allows the development of properties above railway stations.  There are speakers from Japan and Korea and it was apparent the Asia cities have a common strategy to develop mass transit as a means to main mobility.
