WiLAT Sri Lanka takes the lead to set up WiLAT Bangladesh

Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) Bangladesh launched its Women’s Forum, Women in Logistics and Transport (WiLAT), on 21 August. Bangladesh joined as the 22nd Chapter of WiLAT Global family. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, CILT Bangladesh Council decided to launch WiLAT Bangladesh virtually via zoom platform. The CILT International Secretary General Keith Newton FCILT, International Vice President (IVP), Finbarr Cleary from CILT Ireland, WiLAT Global Chairperson Gayani De Alwis CMILT, WiLAT Deputy Global Chairperson Vicky Koo and WiLAT India Chairperson Ragini Yechuri, Global Vice Chairperson South East Asia Zavia Abdul Majid also joined the launch event. Webinar - Mentorship Program - July 30th , 2020

WiLAT SL held a successful session on Mental Health for young adults focusing the mentoring community of the WiLAT mentoring program 2019/2020, Ignite – 6. This program was conducted as an education session and an open discussion on issues that young adults face on a psychological platform along with Covid-19 pandemic. A survey was conducted to identify specific requirements of the group in terms of most prominent and frequent issues they’ve faced during and post Covid-19. WiLAT Sri Lanka AGM - June 5th , 2020

Women in Logistics and Transport (WiLAT) Sri Lanka, Women Forum of Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Sri Lanka held its 7th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 5th June 2020 virtually for the first time and it created a historic moment for Women in Logistics and Transport Sri Lanka. Due to Covid Pandemic WiLAT Sri Lanka have decided to host the AGM in zoom platform virtually. The International CILT President Dato Radzak Malek (Malaysia) and Global WiLAT chairperson Dr. Dorothy (Hong Kong) also joined at the AGM.
